Shrug
I was asked to use this flashy purple yarn for a Bolero jacket for a child, for a family photo. I added white fingering weight yarn for substance and used (adapted) an Interweave pattern. I knit in lace because the fluffy yarn looked surprisingly flat otherwise, and added cuffs so the sleeves would be the exact same length and not fly up (the yarn is very light). It was fiendish to seam or undo but ended up looking cute and it feels really soft. I look forward to a picture of it on the little girl.Labels: knitting
