aha?
Why is this being so under-covered? I'd put more links here but it seems pointless since no one's paying much attention. Everything I read says that this stuff is pretty miniscule and very easy to hide because it looks fairly harmless until it's midway in assembly. Brother.

I suspect it's because so few of our alleged pundits have any experience with this kind of stuff: Keith Olbermann, for one, sneered that at worst, it might cause a few burns.

In 1972, one of the ways soldiers (including me) were trained to deal with these matters went like this:

1) Herd the troops into a confined area.

2) Lob in a gas bomb of this sort.

3) See how fast they get their gas masks on.

Anyone who got through that knows better than to dismiss this as penny-ante stuff.
