what is it about oklahoma?
Seriously, what is it about Oklahoma that there are so many, and such interesting, blogs?! I check these three daily as I'm sure many people do (dustbury, numskullery, sweet familiar dissonance) and finally realized that they're all Oklahomans. Sheesh, is there something in the water? the air? the soil?? I'm going to look at more Okie blogs and see if I should consider becoming a non-resident Oklahoman. (P.S. And another: okiedoke.)

Oklahoma does seem to have more great blogs than one would expect if great blogs were distributed randomly. I don't have a theory, but I just want to say that I've noticed the same thing, and I'm happy that someone from out of state noticed it.

Thanks for the link. :-)

I'm sure it's just me - my surfing habits, but it seems like there are several states that most US bloggers (regardless of quality) are in only a few states, while other states have very few. Oklahoma, Texas, Florida and a few others seem to be blogger-rich states but I don't recall ever seeing a blogger from Kentucky or Idaho (for example) I don't know what it is about Oklahoma; we don't seemed to be blessed with a lot of computer literate people here.
