january . . . february
February 2nd is coming. Thus an excuse to watch Groundhog Day again. Again. Again. How many times have you seen it?

Update. According to IMDb, GHD will be broadcast on the Comedy channel on Friday 2/2/07 at 10:30 am plus at 1:00 and 3:30 pm, as well as on Saturday 2/3/07 at 7:30 and 10:00 am plus 12:30 pm which means we can see it again and again and again and again and again and again and again. Is this a great country or what.

Probably about six...mostly in recent years as my kids *love* that movie and get it out every Feb. 2nd. :) It's a movie for which my appreciation has grown with each additional viewing.

Best wishes,
Laura

Heh. That's a great reference. Subtle.

I was surprised to learn they had a back-story planned involving a voodoo curse, that would have explained everything. The decision to leave things unexplained was apparently last-minute. Good choice.

We were going through a time where whenever a female role had to have a lot of sexual and love appeal for straight men, there was this rule that Andie MacDowell should be cast for it. Huge mistake. She simply doesn't stand out from the crowd in a way that's arousing or captivating. When they remake it (just once) they should cast Kristin Kruek as Rita.

And Hugh Laurie as Phil. That guy who played Ned can stay exactly where he is, of course.

My son would love your casting of Rita! He's been smitten with Kristen Kruek for ages. Hugh Laurie WOULD be awesome as Phil. (Do you know Bertie & Wooster - so fabulous and different from House?) Know anyone to suggest this to?
