P.S. (more)
I never ever -- well, hardly ever -- link to network news here but I just have to link to this one by Terry Moran of ABC News whose piece today that caught my eye is about how sorry -- well, not -- we should feel for the Duke lacrosse players. I think he hits the nail squarely on the head when he points out that our sympathy for the boys may be "just a bit misplaced." Especially when you consider that (a) they had "collected $800 to purchase the time of two strippers," (b) they'd "specifically requested at least one white stripper," (c) Finnerty had been "charged with assault in Washington, DC, in 2005" and (d) because of the relative wealth of their parents, they "were able to retain a battery of top-flight attorneys, investigators and media strategists." Sometimes adversity makes us better people and these guys seem to have been ideal candidates for needing a few hard knocks.

Nobody is an ideal candidate for hard knocks consisting of being indicted for an offense you did not committ. What is worse is that you did not have the benefits of aspects of due process i.e. innocent unti proven guilty. Everyone assumed you were guilty because you are white, have money, play on a team. Maybe everyone involved in the case (including the alledged victim) would have been better off if the prosecutor had investigated fully and the community hadn't demanded that rapists be indicted now.

Yeah, I guess I'm not sensitive enough for the higher intelligence of ABC News. I fail to see why collecting $800 to pay for a stripper or two is a bad thing, much less the "crime" of requesting a white one. But I do see why being white (or maybe even, shocker, in a fraternity) is enough to be assumed guilty. Because that's the way the multicultis and the race industry have played the game this past quarter century. And ABC News is just one of their minions--always read to pile whoever a cretin like Sharpton decides needs roughing up. I hope the prosecutor gets indicted. Too bad they can't indict Sharpton and ABC News.

Yes, what they did was dumb by my reckoning, but they're young men, young men do dumb things, but the didn't actually do anything wrong or illegal. [Hmm, what's the difference there?!]
The procecutor should be charged and the whiner, oops, complainant should be as well.sill
