Bush and Libby
Apparently Bush is going to commute Libby's sentence. Regardless of the rightness or wrongness, I say good for him. People have made their minds up about Bush (and Libby, for that matter) so he's simply following his own logic and convictions. Good for him. It's not as if anyone will hate him more or not elect him again, right?

I hope it's pardon and not commute, I still can't believe that Fitzgerald knew who the leaker was at the beginning of the investigation and went ahead anyway. What is it that something like that gets pretty well ignored? There's something very screwy going on in the world today. And in Britain, that twerp Malloch Brown who was one of the prime movers against Wolfowitz at the World Bank is appointed to some high position by Gordon Brown. [Guess they both have the right name!] Well I guess the Gordon of the Browns has had to learn a quick lesson about the Muslims.

PS. I see it is a commute of the prison sentence, that's OK, it would have been unconscionable to send him to jail.
