What's Elizabeth Edwards' problem? First Hillary, then Rudy, and now Obama. I have to assume she's devoted to her husband and really really really wants him to be president but I wish someone she trusted would tell her that the
actual effect of all her little outbursts is to make people groan and moan. It's not that what she says isn't true and it's not that she's not perfectly within her free speech rights to say anything she wants. It's just that it makes her -- and by reflection, him -- look like a wacky emotional loony toon. I don't even necessarily disagree with anything she's said, it's just that I would think Teresa Heinz had deep-sixed the model of outspoken-campaigner's-wife once and for all.
