Gorgeous II
The weather is simply fantastic in NY today. Cool this morning, sunny, breezy. Aside from the contrast to the humid and yucky day recently, it's just so amazing to feel air like this. Now, where shall I move to have this almost all year? Hmm.....

It's getting gorgeous here in Northeast Ohio too. I might like to move somewhere where it was like this year-round except when I think about rampant insects, giant roaches, snakes, scorpions, yuck! Maybe the Carolinas??

Oh goodness - is that the trade-off? Beautiful weather but horrible "animals"??? Ugh. I hear South Africa is perfect weather . . . but it's two days away from friends and family. And what about Maine? There has to be somewhere, doesn't there???

I've heard there's lots of "creepie crawlies" down south. For example, I seem to recall Steve at Hog On Ice, who lives in Miami, finding scorpions in his shoes and his shower. I also remember when my cousin lived in Texas she had to check her oven for roaches.

Doesn't Maine get cold winters, being that far north and close to Canada? Maybe not the mounds of snow, at least. And maybe the states in the middle, like Kentucky or Tennesse, don't get the creepie crawlies as bad.
