Serious or irrelevant?
Not sure.  Read this and add your thoughts, please.  I mean, we've all had friends who did things we would never do.  So is it part of Obama's wholecloth or beside the point?

I am definitely puzzled as to what might be so "wrong" with the ad or with the American Issues Project that both Fox and CNN will not run the ad.  When was the last time they agreed so thoroughly?

The Weather Underground people were seriously bad folks although Bernardine Dohrn, Bill Ayers wife, is the only name I remembered with out being reminded by the press. Obama's been extremely secretive regarding his relationship with Ayers.

I've seen an ad already concerning this. Not sure if it's the same one or not. It didn't seem especially offensive. Maybe Fox and CNN are afraid of getting bombed.

I think it's more likely they've been intimidated by the letters Obama's campaign sent out warning them not to run the ad.

Kate, if you're right, then no wonder we don't feel as if we get the news clearly. Do you really think the media can be influenced that easily??!
